The ongoing health and safety concerns mean that we are not able to meet in person at the Shakespeare Centre in Stratford, so the BSA Board will repeat the successful practice of last year’s meeting and hold the AGM and Awards Ceremony virtually via Zoom. You can register to attend the event here.

An agenda for the AGM and minutes of our last AGM can be downloaded here. We will report on the year’s activities including the latest information about changes to our website, Education activities, and online and live events for the future.

The AGM will be followed on the same Zoom call by our Honorary Fellowship Award Ceremony, chaired by Dr Eleanor Rycroft. Our two Honorary Fellows of 2021 are Professor Andrew Gurr, theatre historian and lead academic advisor to the Globe, and actor Adjoa Andoh, whose extensive career of Shakespeare roles includes playing Ulysses for the RSC and Richard II at the Globe.
