In Gong’s hands, Shakespeare’s women characters have become forces to reckon with. Join us for an online event where Gong will be reading a short excerpt from her latest book, Immortal Longings, followed by an interview with Sarah Olive (Aston University), lead editor of the peer-reviewed international journal, Jeunesse: Young People, Texts, Cultures. The event is a collaboration between the British Shakespeare Association and the Women & Shakespeare Podcast which has featured both Gong and Olive as guests.
