BSA Member Dr Christina Wolf shares an invitiation to a free in-person exhibition at the University of Leicester:
“We are delighted to be able to invite you visit the physical exhibition Shakespeare’s Library: Sources and Texts. The texts which were highly influential on Shakespeare’s work are quite well known and researched. There is a long tradition of scholarship that helps us understand the importance of the books Shakespeare read and how he used them when writing his plays and poems. This exhibition highlights the connections between Shakespeare’s work and the works of others as well as their links with the City of Leicester.”
Please note that there is also an online version of the exhibition, which is accessible here: Shakespeare’s Library · Leicester Special Collections (omeka.net)
